If you’re looking for a sturdy app, this could be the one for you. You can view, edit and share a wide range of file types, and it’s completely free to use. This app received the Best App of 2015 commendation at the Google Play Awards. You’ll be able to sync your files with Google Drive and Dropbox, so it should more than handle all of your docx needs.
3. Microsoft Word
Since the file type is associated with Word, it makes sense that the official app will be able to open them with ease. Here’s the official advert for the app: Some of the features found on the app are locked behind an Office 365 account, so if you don’t have access, check out one of the free options on this list. Here are the terms of the free version; The free Microsoft Word app provides a core experience for viewing, creating and editing docs on devices with a screen size of 10.1 inches or smaller. Here’s yet another option from the Play Store, which also has added functionality if you’re interested. You can edit numerous office file types, and you can even convert files to the PDF format. It’s extremely versatile, and it’s intuitive. It’s another insanely popular app, so it’s worth checking out if you’re unimpressed with the ones we’ve listed so far. There’s also a premium version if you’re willing to pay to avoid ads. This is another great app, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t give it a try if you plan on opening files regularly on your phone.
Open Docx on Android
It’s actually pretty simple to open these file types once you’ve downloaded an app to do it for you, and you can set the app as the default program to save time in the future.
