VPNs for ad-blocking It’s welcome news in a time where bundles and perks on mobile and internet plans are relatively slim. New and existing Mate mobile customers on plans $25 or above (essentially every plan other than the 8GB plan) can claim 12 months worth of Tidal Premium (valued at $11.99 per month). That’s at least $143.90 of value if you stick around for the full 12 months. The deal isn’t currently available to Mate NBN customers and comes with a few caveats. For example, if you downgrade your plan to the 8GB $20 per month mobile plan, Mate will cancel your Tidal Premium subscription within 24 hours. The deal also doesn’t extend to Tidal’s Family and HiFi plans, so if you upgrade to either of those tiers, you’ll pay full price. Upon activation, new customers should receive a promotional code for the Tidal subscription. After that, it’s a simple matter of heading to Tidal’s website and entering the promo code at sign-up. Existing Tidal customers can also claim the promotion by heading in their account settings and attaching the promo code in the ‘Manage Subscription’ menu. If you’re an existing Mate mobile customer, you should also receive a promotional code via SMS but if you don’t, just get in touch with Mate’s customer support. Check out Mate’s guide for claiming your bonus Tidal Premium subscription if you’re having trouble. Not a Mate customer? Here are the plans eligible for a Tidal Premium subscription.
